Sunny Legend was born from a real market need.
Romano Giacometti, the director, after many years working internationally and serving as a sales manager, we were approached by a client seeking a reliable source for small round calibrated semi-precious stones.
What appeared to be a simple request quickly revealed a major industry challenge:
consistent quality.
Numerous samples from different suppliers were rejected due to poor cutting precision, incorrect sizing, and chipping. After months of unsuccessful sourcing, a past professional connection proved decisive. During a visit, we discovered a cutting factory specialized in exactly what the market was missing—high-quality, small-size precision-cut stones.
The results were immediate: over 80% of the samples passed strict quality tests, meeting the client’s requirements. What began as a side project, handled during weekends, quickly evolved into a serious and sustainable business opportunity.
